What is Prolotherapy?
Joint pain is often caused by weak or damaged tendons and ligaments, causing your joint to go out of alignment and move in unnatural ways that further aggravate your joint. Prolotherapy is a minimally invasive, non-surgical injection therapy that uses a natural dextrose solution to motivate your body to strengthen and heal your tissues.
What is PRP
PRP is a special kind of Prolotherapy that uses your body’s own growth and healing factors contained in your blood platelets to initiate the healing process. Platelets are taken from your own body, then concentrated in a centrifuge, and injected into your joint.
Treatable Chronic Pain and Injuries
PRP and Prolotherapy are ideal for treating hundreds of different varieties of chronic joint pain and sports injuries. To find out if you are a good candidate for PRP or Prolotherapy, call my office or make an appointment for an initial consultation.
